Mearns & Deeside Course
The Mearns Dojo held it’s annual Christmas party and award ceremony for it’s Junior members on the 14th of December 2005. The party was well supported, with 27 juniors attending to celebrate the end of another great year for the club. Special awards were made to Robbie Martin for “Best Karateka”, Georgia Cruickshank received “Best Aikidoka”, Jack Neish won “Most Improved Student” and Sean Duncan received the “Best Spirit” award. It was very pleasing to see the kids having such a great time, the kids from both the Aikido and Karate classes mixed well as kids do, much food, fizzy drinks, jelly and ice cream was consumed throughout the evening. The adults also enjoyed a great evening early in the week going for a Chinese meal at a local restaurant, again much food and fizzy drinks were consumed. My thanks to all students and parents for the help and support throughout 2005, making it another successful year for the Dojo.
